Open Streets Wilmington is joining forces with the Wilmington Earth Day Celebration for an afternoon of fun, fitness, and sustainability! Did you know that many activities that are healthy for your mind and body are also healthy for the Earth? Learn all about it while enjoying live music, outdoor fitness classes, free bike rentals and repairs, giveaways, kids activities, and much more!

Open Streets Raffle: Fill out a ticket at each vendor or activity booth that you visit. The more activities you visit, the more chances you have of winning! Winner gets a 3 month membership to YMCA Delaware and a gift basket of YMCA swag!

Earth Day Scavenger Hunt: Find all the missing pieces and reveal a fun image of one of Delaware’s iconic mascots. All participants can redeem their scavenger hunt for cool earth day swag and raffle by visiting 9 exhibitors throughout the event. Every entry is automatically entered into a raffle for free trees and shrubs, a free kayaking or canoeing trip at the DuPont Environmental Education Center, and earth day swag on a first-come-first-serve basis.

All Abilities Yoga Class w/ YMCA
All abilities and ages welcome in this free class! 30 minute class starts at 2:15pm, but you may come and go as you please. Bring your own mat, or use one provided by the Y. Class takes place at 600 N. Market Street.

Parking Information

Visitors are encouraged to walk, bike or run to the event – it’s a great way to get in extra miles for fitness and save the hassle of parking while you’re at it! For our friends who plan on driving to the event, several downtown lots and garages are offering free or discounted parking for the event.

Colonial Parking 6th and Orange Lot – FREE during the event
