Open Streets events take place in cities all over the United States and the world, and the idea is pretty simple – close down a street to motor vehicle traffic and transform the street into community space for residents of all ages and abilities to spend time outside walking, biking, jogging, skateboarding, dancing, and more. Open Streets promotes health and wellness, supports local businesses, and builds community.
